Her educational and professional accomplishments in El Salvador are equally significant. Tatiana has shared that she was the first transgender woman to study at Universidad de Oriente (UNIVO) in San Miguel. She also worked for six years as a receptionist at a government agency, navigating professional environments where opportunities for transgender women have historically been limited.

These experiences helped shape the determination and independence that would eventually carry her onto some of the world's most recognized international transgender pageant stages.

Tatiana's international pageant journey began well before her Miss Trans Star International victory.

In 2019, she represented El Salvador at Miss International Trans in Mexico, where she earned the distinction of third runner-up. The experience marked an important milestone in her development as an international competitor and strengthened her determination to continue representing her country.

In August 2024, Tatiana achieved another historic milestone when she became the first transgender woman to represent El Salvador at Miss International Queen in Bangkok, Thailand.

As the only Central American representative in that year's competition, she carried the pride of her country onto a global stage, introducing international audiences to both her personal story and the beauty and culture of El Salvador.

Preparing for the competition required more than seven months of dedicated training in public speaking, runway presentation, and dance. Without the level of organizational and corporate sponsorship available to contestants from many other countries, Tatiana faced additional challenges in preparing for and financing her international participation.

Nevertheless, she remained committed to her goal, demonstrating that determination and belief in oneself can open doors even when traditional support systems are unavailable.

Beyond her accomplishments in pageantry, Tatiana has consistently used her public platform to bring attention to the experiences of transgender women, particularly those living in El Salvador.
